1. Purpose and Reporting Scope

Bradshaw Taylor is committed to acting responsibly, transparently and consistently in any government affairs, public policy engagement, trade association activity or external advocacy connected to its business.

This statement sets out our approach to responsible lobbying and policy engagement. Its purpose is to ensure that any direct or indirect advocacy reflects our values, aligns with our public commitments, and supports responsible business practice.

The purpose of this statement is to:

  • confirm Bradshaw Taylor's commitment to responsible, transparent and values-led policy engagement
  • reduce the risk of greenwashing, misrepresentation or misalignment between policy positions and business practices
  • support ethical, accountable and evidence-based advocacy
  • ensure external positions are consistent with our commitments to people, communities and the environment
  • strengthen governance and oversight of policy and lobbying activity

2. Scope

This statement applies to:

  • Bradshaw Taylor employees, directors and senior leaders involved in policy engagement or public affairs activity
  • any external representatives acting on behalf of Bradshaw Taylor
  • membership of trade associations, industry bodies or similar organisations where Bradshaw Taylor's interests may be represented
  • meetings, submissions, statements, campaigns or advocacy connected to government, regulators, policymakers or industry groups

This statement should be read alongside relevant policies on ethics, anti-bribery and corruption, responsible marketing and PR, stakeholder governance and sustainability.

VALUE IN ACTION — Responsibility: zero tolerance means we own the problem — prioritising worker safety and remedy over simply cutting ties.

3. Our Current Position on Lobbying

Bradshaw Taylor does not currently lobby because public policy advocacy is not a regular part of our business operations, activities or engagement strategy. If this changes we will publish an updated responsible lobbying policy and statement.

We do not make financial or in-kind political contributions.

This position applies to any third-party organisations or intermediaries acting on our behalf.

We maintain a Responsible Lobbying Policy that sets out the governance, controls, approval process, and transparency requirements that would apply before any lobbying or advocacy activity is undertaken.

This statement is reviewed annually by the Board of Directors.

Last reviewed: August 2026

VALUE IN ACTION — Pride: we say plainly where we stand, rather than leaving our position on lobbying unstated or ambiguous.

4. Statement of Commitment

Bradshaw Taylor recognises that businesses can influence public policy both directly and indirectly. Where we engage in policy discussions, advocacy or collective action, we are committed to doing so responsibly, honestly and in a way that is consistent with our values and wider business commitments.

We will not knowingly support lobbying or policy positions that materially conflict with our public commitments, misrepresent our practices, or undermine positive social or environmental outcomes.

Where Bradshaw Taylor engages in policy activity, we will seek to ensure that our voice is used responsibly and transparently, and that our positions are grounded in evidence, integrity and long-term value creation.

VALUE IN ACTION — Responsibility: we hold any future policy engagement to the same standard as everything else we commit to — consistent with our values, not just convenient for our interests.

5. Our Principles

Bradshaw Taylor will apply the following principles in any policy engagement or lobbying-related activity:

Alignment — our external policy positions should be consistent with our values, public commitments and responsible business practices.

Transparency — policy engagement should be carried out openly, honestly and with appropriate internal oversight.

Integrity — we will not use lobbying or policy engagement to create a misleading impression of our environmental, social or ethical performance.

Accountability — relevant leaders should be able to explain how positions are formed, reviewed and approved.

Responsibility — we will only support lobbying, policy engagement or advocacy that is consistent with Bradshaw Taylor's mission and purpose, and that supports positive social and environmental impact.

6. Responsible Lobbying Stance

Bradshaw Taylor does not support lobbying activity intended to weaken responsible regulation, obscure the impact of our business, or create a gap between our public commitments and our actual practices.

Where Bradshaw Taylor engages in policy discussions or external advocacy, we will ensure that:

  • positions are consistent with our stated values and commitments
  • statements are evidence-based and not misleading
  • environmental or social claims are not overstated
  • advocacy is reviewed through appropriate internal channels
  • any material inconsistency or reputational risk is identified and addressed

7. Trade Associations and Indirect Advocacy

Bradshaw Taylor recognises that trade bodies and representative organisations may advocate on behalf of members.

Where we are part of such organisations, we will seek to:

  • consider whether their positions are broadly consistent with our values and public commitments
  • review material areas of potential misalignment
  • raise concerns where a position appears inconsistent with responsible business practice
  • consider appropriate action where serious or ongoing misalignment exists

VALUE IN ACTION — Collaboration: we hold our collective memberships to the same standard we hold ourselves — silence isn't neutral when we have a seat at the table.

8. Governance and Oversight

Significant policy engagement, lobbying-related activity or external advocacy on behalf of Bradshaw Taylor will be subject to appropriate review and oversight.

This may include:

  • review by the relevant senior leader or functional owner
  • consideration of alignment with Bradshaw Taylor policies and public commitments
  • involvement of communications, legal, sustainability or governance support where appropriate
  • retention of appropriate records where needed

The Senior Leadership Team is responsible for supporting oversight of this statement and for reviewing significant risks, concerns or areas of potential misalignment.

9. Stakeholder Concerns and Speak-Up

Bradshaw Taylor recognises that stakeholders may have concerns about policy positions, lobbying-related activity or public advocacy.

Concerns may be raised through appropriate internal or external reporting routes and will be considered seriously and fairly. Where concerns suggest a material inconsistency between our values, public commitments and policy engagement, we will seek to review and address them appropriately.

10. Anti-Corruption and Ethical Conduct

All policy engagement and government affairs activity must be carried out in line with Bradshaw Taylor's ethics and anti-bribery expectations.

Bradshaw Taylor will not permit:

  • bribery, improper influence or inducements
  • misleading or dishonest statements
  • hidden political or lobbying activity carried out on our behalf
  • policy engagement that conflicts with legal or ethical standards

11. Monitoring and Review

Bradshaw Taylor will seek to review this statement and any relevant policy engagement approach at least annually to ensure it remains responsible, transparent and aligned with our wider commitments.

This may include reviewing:

  • relevant memberships or affiliations
  • significant public policy positions
  • areas of potential misalignment
  • stakeholder concerns
  • governance and approval processes
  • actions arising from review

VALUE IN ACTION — Growth: we treat our current position as something to revisit deliberately, not something that just stays true by default.

12. Approval and Review

This statement will be reviewed at least annually to ensure it remains practical, relevant and aligned with Bradshaw Taylor's values, governance expectations and responsible business commitments.

Version Date Summary of changes
1 August 2026 Formatted into the standard Bradshaw Taylor template (logo, Policy Snapshot, Values in Action, Document Control). Substantive additions made per review advisories: (1) added Section 3 Our Current Position on Lobbying, stating plainly that Bradshaw Taylor does not currently conduct lobbying or make political contributions, using the wording supplied for this purpose, including the governance safeguards that would apply if this position changes and confirmation of annual Board review; (2) the Responsibility principle in Section 5 (Our Principles) now explicitly states that Bradshaw Taylor will only support lobbying, policy engagement or advocacy consistent with its mission, purpose and positive social and environmental impact, reflecting B Corp expectations. All other original wording is unchanged.
